The Lyris Quartet was founded in 2008 and its members have won top prizes at the Tchaikovsky International Competition and Aspen Music Festival and have collaborated with renowned artists Natalia Gutman, David Geringas, Martha Argerich, Alban Gerhardt, Boris Pergamenschikov, Guillame Sutre, Myung-Whun Chung and Richard Stoltzman.

Cal State LA invites all interested parties to attend public hearings to learn about a proposed change in admission criteria effective fall 2020. The hearings will include a presentation on the key features of the admission criteria proposal and provide an opportunity for questions and comments. Hearings are also scheduled for Feb. 21 at Cal State LA and Feb. 22 at East Los Angeles College.
