In order to apply, you must have graduated by the end of the presiding fall quarter or semester to apply for that summer's ABSN program. One cohort of students is admitted each year to start their program in June. Students will complete approximately 53 semester units of study in both didactic and clinical coursework over 15 months of study. Upon completion of the program, students will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cal State LA. Completion of the degree program enables individuals to sit for the NCLEX examination for RN licensure.
