The College of Natural and Social Sciences is the largest college at Cal State LA with over 150 outstanding and dedicated faculty who have won more Statewide Outstanding Professor Awards than faculty in any other academic unit in the California State University system. Student Highlight

Lily Nguyen

Lily Nguyen enrolled at Cal State Los Angeles when she was just 13-years-old. Now the 18-year-old graduate with a degree in biochemistry and a double minor in biology and psychology will reasearch alongside the world's leading scientists.

Six Outstanding Professor Awardees seated with four administrators standing behind

NSS faculty members (Heidi Riggio and Howard Xu) were recognized at the Fall Convocation as Outstanding Professors while Jessica Bodoh-Creed was named the University-wide Outstanding Lecturer.
